Whilst it’s not an instant fix to client referrals it has helped me meet a wide range of people from very different industries. I regularly attend both the Cobham & Leatherhead and Reigate groups, and the format works brilliantly for me as a professional services business owner. The 8am–10am timing is ideal as it allows you to network properly without taking up the whole working day. What I particularly like is that the meetings are structured and professional, but still very relaxed and welcoming. There’s no pressure to force referrals or pass leads, which makes building genuine relationships much more natural. Ironically, because of this approach, I’ve both passed and received a significant amount of business through the group. It’s led to new clients, project work, collaborations and even introductions to excellent suppliers I now work with regularly. Another huge benefit is the opportunity to sub at other Connect Surrey groups, which really broadens your network and gives you the chance to meet a wide variety of local business owners and professionals. I’ve been attending Surrey Connect Ltd, run by Paul Bridgeland, and it’s genuinely one of the best networking groups I’ve been part of. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and very genuine, which makes it easy to build real connections rather than feeling like a hard-sell networking event. The members are fantastic — supportive, professional, and a pleasure to be around. Paul does a brilliant job running the group and creating such a positive environment. I hope they will forgive me for saying so, but this is business networking for people that don't really 'do' business networking. It's relaxed and enjoyable, with no pressure to pass referrals, just lots of opportunities to collaborate and share. Also, there's always a good mix of people in the room whether you are at Cobham, Reigate, Guildford or Farnham. Highly recommended for business owners, and managers.

Membership Details

Regular attendance is crucial to yield tangible results from networking as it allows you to develop meaningful connections with your fellow members.

Our membership plan is straightforward and comprises a £55 monthly subscription charge, along with an additional £45 per calendar month for breakfast at your chosen 'Core' group - resulting in a total of £100 per month. Furthermore, there is a one-time joining fee of £149 for new members.

You are free to participate in any of our other groups by booking and paying online, in the same way as you would as a visitor.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to substitute for another absent member at other groups and enjoy a free breakfast.

Since we do not follow a contract-based model, you are free to terminate your membership anytime.

Monthly payment is by Direct Debit only (this is non-negotiable).
