I am the founder of Murphy Consulting, a service offering career coaching and business mentoring. Prior to training as a coach, I spent 17 years at the BBC where, after a spell in TV and radio production, I specialised in mentoring and team development.  My coaching offers supportive 1-2-1 sessions in complete confidence, offering a ‘safe space’ to have an honest and frank conversation about your challenges and aspirations. I use my  journalistic background to ask probing questions and dig deeper into issues. I’ll look at your strengths and build those into your CV and can offer a referral for a complete CV rewrite if required.  In my client relationships I create clarity, a job seeking plan, a sounding board and better insights.

I also offer team coaching, using pscyometric tools and analysis to help improve communication and group dynamics.  As a mentor, I am a trained member of the Association of Business Mentors and volunteers for the UK Government’s Help to Grow scheme.
