Daniel Crate

I enjoy helping his clients maximise the value of their intellectual property assets covering copyright, designs, trademarks and confidential information.

I act on behalf of a mix of clients from large multinationals to start-ups and entrepreneurs operating across a broad range of sectors covering fashion, food and beverages, technology, crypto, FMCG, restaurant and leisure.

Working with clients to develop brand protection strategies, I assist my clients manage and monitor their national and international intellectual property rights, advising on contentious and non-contentious matters (such as licensing), and online brand enforcement.

Prior to co-founding Crate Jacobs, I worked for 4 years at a top Legal 500 London based IP law firm.

Outside of Crate Jacobs, I enjoy open water swimming, writing, live music and standup comedy (occasionally performing, with varying degrees of success). I also have a go at triathlons and marathons when the joints aren’t too sore.
