My background is in civil & structural engineering design. I have worked for large organisations including London Heathrow Airport and within the rail sector.
Stratus was created in 2023 as a standalone Consultancy concentrating solely on civil and structural engineering projects.
With a wealth of experience across all sectors of development, I can successfully deliver quality structural design services for simple and complex projects.
I feel that many people are daunted by starting a building design project, whether it’s a simple extension or major new development, but I’m passionate about helping them understand what’s involved so they have clear expectations from the outset: “Before I start working with a client I explain the whole process from ‘Do I need planning permission?’ through to setting out what will happen before and during construction.
It’s all about having an open approach and being clear about what the client really needs.”
I also act as an engineering consultant to Form Design Group a local Building Design Consultancy.
